The draft law “On languages in Ukraine” has been registered in the Ukrainian Parliament

 This draft law was developed by Deputies Efremov A. S. (Party of Regions of Ukraine), Symonenko P.M. (the Communist Party of Ukraine) and Grinevetskuj S.R. (The Lytvyn Bloc). Information about Guaranteeing of Rights for Romanian Minority in Chernivtsi Region

Many representatives of nearly eighty nationalities live in Chernivtsi region. Among them one can find Ukrainians (75%), Romanians (12, 5%), Moldavians (7,3%), Jews (2 %), Poles (0,3 %), Byelorussians (0,2%) and some Germans (0,1 %).
